Dr Esther Fox, a Chartered Physiotherapist, trained in Clinical Pilates has developed a system of Pilates based exercises that you can follow on a daily basis. These exercise classes are based on her 20 years of experience working as a Physiotherapist teaching rehabilitation, Pilates and Yoga and are all online so you can do these in the comfort of your own home

What is Pilates?

Pilates is a system of exercises developed by Joseph Pilates after the first World War. Joe Pilates gained popularity after moving to New York and using his system to prevent dancers becoming injured. Pilates has stood the test of time. Physiotherapists adapted the original Pilates repertoire to accommodate people with health conditions and developed Clinical Pilates, however the principles of controlled movements remain the same. Research has shown than Pilates is very safe and effective for improving many conditions.
